Manual removal - This is considered helpful in a case when you are sure which codes and programs are spyware. The process for manual removal of spyware is mentioned below -

Go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

At Add/Remove Programs you can see the entire list of programs, which are currently installed in your PC.

Automatic Removal by Installing Spyware - If you are not sure about the spyware that is currently present in your PC, it would be wise for you to go for automatic Spyware removal by installing a quality anti spyware program. You can check online to get quality anti spyware software and download that. Run the scanner after installation. It will detect all the malware and infected programs that are present in your PC. Now remove detected programs permanently.

Few people think, antivirus and anti spyware are same but they are completely different. Anti spyware is specially designed to remove malicious spying agents while antivirus is designed to remove Trojans and other virus.
